Well-earned

David Attenborough is finally retiring at 83.

What a wonderful man and and a wonderful life he has led. Nature documentaries will not be the same without his distinctive narration.

I guess it had to happen one day.

PS - What's happened to Ausculture?

  1. Oh how upsetting! I adore him. He has taught so many people so much about the world around them.

It's hard to imagine television without him, but hopefully they'll continue to replay his existing work.

  2. I too, like most folk, I imagine, am a big Dave fan.

I'd be tempted to champion the cause for a tribute in the form of an Attenborough documentary marathon, but who has that much time?

I'll just go home this afternoon and watch a couple of episodes of The Trials of Life.
